Grab your friend or a partner and join us for this unique and intimate experience. This workshop is meant to act as a love note to someone you care about. A way to learn how to care for each other in a practical & accessible way that can be replicated in your home or community. These are ancestral, familial, and community based healing practices that all of us deserve access to. It is not required to come with someone, just know that it is beneficial , in the sense that you can continue building knowledge and techniques, and giving and receiving beyond this class.

This is a fully clothed experience, and we will be working with our hands, arms, knees & feet so come with loose or comfortable clothing, a pair of fresh socks & a water bottle. Mats, bolsters and blankets are provided, but if you prefer your own- feel free to bring it.

The massage theory & style will be from 5 element "shiatsu" meaning "finger pressure" and uses the same ancient 12 meridians as are used in acupuncture for encouraging balance in the system. We will cover consent, energy, treatment basics, hands on demo & guidance of massage techniques to create homeostasis in the body and show up individually for our massage partner.
