Movement Therapist / Clinic Operations
Keisha is a movement therapist specializing in yoga therapy. She discovered the power of yoga when she was in a high-visibility, high-stress career as a TV news reporter. Since leaving the world of media, K-12 private education, and non-profit marketing and communications, health and wellness has become her true calling. She has been teaching public and private yoga classes, and other movement methods, in the Bay Area for almost a decade.
She is the creator of Alignment-Vinyasa®, founder of The Driven Yogi, and a Yoga Therapist in training completing her certification at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the Berkshires. She works with clients 1:1 and uses the tools of yoga to bring holistic treatment to individuals suffering from physical, psychological, or somatic dysfunctions ranging from chronic pain to emotional and mental distress.
Keisha earned a B.A in Broadcast Journalism from California State University - Northridge and an M.A in International Relations from University of Oklahoma. She is an Emmy® Award-winning journalist and has been featured in Shape Magazine, Self.com, Yoga Alliance, and Fitness Business Insider.
