Birth, grief and early parenting

Becoming a parent is a process marked by change, wonder, grief, and transformation. The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped many elements of pregnancy, birth, and early parenting, adding further uncertainty to these natural periods of change. As constraints of the pandemic continue to emerge, some are experiencing that connecting to relatives and community after the unique experience of giving birth in a pandemic is bringing up feelings of grief or sadness.

This is a process group for birthing parents to honor the complexity of welcoming new life during the pandemic. It is a space to grieve, celebrate, and be in community with others who have shared the unprecedented experience.

This group runs Wednesdays from 12 -1:30pm PST (Zoom) from September 15th - December 15th.

Space is limited. A pre-group interview is required. This group is for birthing parents of all genders. Babies in arms are welcome.
